The Museum is delighted to host this special event organized by The Pop-Up Culture Club of Ukiah. Refugee Stories of Hope, Courage and Humanity began as a book project, documenting the experiences of refugees around the world. One of its authors, Megan Carson, will be on hand to discuss the book’s genesis and her work on the project. Taking inspiration from the book, Bay Area sculptor, printmaker, and mixed media artist Luna Ruth Paesch created two related art installations that will both be on view in the Museum’s public room. Carson and Paesch will give two presentations, one at 11:00 AM and another at 3:00 PM. The art will be accessible for viewing between their talks. Free with Museum admission.
