For the final Writers Read of 2022, there will not be a featured reader but rather two hours of Open Mic. Depending on how many people want to present, the evening will consist of two or three rounds, with each reader limited to 6 minutes per round.

Writers Read has been happening in Ukiah since 1999, and occurs on the last Thursday of almost every month. (Please note, the November event is on the third Thursday so as not to conflict with Thanksgiving.) The program focuses on poetry, spoken word, short stories, song, and expository prose. Writers Read will take December off and return on January 26, 2023.
