We’ll have some cool jazz in the front gallery of the Museum as we welcome Duologue, comprised of bass player Pierre Archain and Carlos Abdiel Hernandez Rivera on trumpet. And we’ll also have a pop-up exhibition featuring the paper art of Ft. Bragg artist Neno Villamor, who is doing a papermaking workshop for us on August 7. This will also be the final First Friday to see our current exhibition Pulped Under Pressure: The Art of Handmade Paper. You can also check out our core galleries devoted to Grace Hudson’s artwork, Pomo basketry, and the history of the Hudson-Carpenter family, as well as take a stroll or guided tour through the Wild Gardens. And, of course, you can visit Little Bear and friends at his popular table of Native American tools and toys. Light refreshments will be served.
